A graduate of Neumann University, with a degree in early childhood education, Ethel brings an incredible level of compassion and wisdom to the staff at SMCS. She has been a teacher and Christian educator for over 40 years and has traveled with children and youth to Montana, Mississippi, Texas, Virginia, New York, and beyond for conferences and mission trips.
Mrs. Wesley's teaching passions lie in reading, creative writing, literature, and religion and she loves working with students and learning from them and her fellow teachers. When she isn't at SMCS, she keeps busy as an active member of the Episcopal church, organizing fundraising for seminary students, leading VBS, and teaching Sunday School. One of her passions is her work with Kairos Outside - a retreat weekend that supports those with incarcerated family members.
Ethel loves to find the awe in nature and cherishes her family. Together with her late husband, she has two sons, two grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. She is the oldest of six with more aunts, uncles, and cousins than she can count! Her two cats, Milkshake and Butterscotch are another source of joy in her life.
